I honestly felt weird when I was younger for not being able to conform to that and not finding male aggression and violence pleasant in any capacity. I felt like a freak for hating mistreatment and manipulation and abuse and it’s so so so gross that young girls are still getting the message that “he hit me and it felt like a kiss” and that abuse is romantic. I love you so much so please stop it mom!!! She seems to be dropping it a little more now and I’m relieved because it’s so nasty and ugly and 1950’s and I’m DONE. Like yeah the 1940’s-1960’s had some lovely art and fashion but the rest is utter trash tbh let it die.
